The Sanford House Wedding | DFW Wedding Photographer | Ben and Adele

Last month I headed to The Sanford House in Arlington, TX to photograph Ben and Adele’s sweet summer wedding, and what a beautiful day it was! Their wedding day was one of those where everything went so smoothly and effortless. With all the romantic details and intimate vibes this wedding day was one for the books!

Getting to know Ben and Adele has been such a treat! From their engagement session to their wedding day, every encounter with them is so fun. Their kind souls and down to earth personalities are unmatched. These two have impeccable taste and all the details from their day have been some of my favorites i’ve seen EVER.

The Details

I was absolutely stunned when Adele informed me her entire wedding look was thrifted! Everything about her bridal look was giving old Hollywood vibes with pearl details and all the bows. The bow on the top of her veil was my favorite! I’ve had so many people tell me she looks like Ariel and they are so right!

I styled their details with vintage pieces to match the theme for the day, paired with fresh florals from The Blooming Bride. Florals also draped their intricately iced wedding cake made by Moonlight Cakes. Their cake topper also looked JUST like them, and it was so cute!

One of my favorite details from the wedding day was the band! Don’t get me wrong, I love DJ’s, but there’s something about a band at a wedding that makes it more classic, fun and unique. This band in particular sang vintage tunes in a 1950’s style! Classic romance ballads and smooth vibes. It was like going back in time! Definitely one of my favorites to date!

The Ceremony

With fifty of their closest friends and family members present, Ben and Adele exchanged vows in the courtyard at The Sanford House. We were hit with quite a bit of clouds during the ceremony, but thankfully there was no rain! Afterward, I took Ben and Adele to the front of The Sanford House for some fun portrait time. I was a bit bummed we didn’t have any sunshine for these, but these two were lit up with so much love we didn’t need any! All the joy and light came right from their beaming smiles!

The Reception

Something about tented receptions are so timeless and fun! This was actually my first wedding that was 100% outdoors and it was honestly the best! The team at The Sanford House, and Ben and Adele’s amazing planner, Rihanna from Gold Dust, did an incredible job setting everything up to perfection. Even with a back-and-forth weather forecast! String lights hung in the courtyard above the dance floor and everyone danced to classical music.

The Perfect Night

The evening closed with a fun bubble exit as everyone gathered to celebrate and send well-wishes to the newlyweds. Ben and Adele are so loved and have the absolute best people in their corner! All of their friends and family were so kind and fun, and truly made this day even better!

Ben and Adele, thank you so much again for allowing me to commemorate your most special day! I loved every single second of it, and can honestly say I have had some of my most fun and creative times at your wedding. Your friendship and warm hearts remind me why I love this job so much, and I’m so blessed to work with amazing couples like you. I can’t wait to create more memories with the two of you in the future!
