Shurtleff Family Early Fall Session | Murrell Park, Flower Mound, TX

I was so excited to kick off the busy fall season with the beautiful Shurtleff family at one of my favorite locations- Murrell park! This family of five is so incredibly photogenic, idyllic and beyond sweet! I was a little upset because they must have lied to me when they said it was their first time taking family photos, because CLEARLY they are models!

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing sweet Allie since high school. This was however my first time meeting her husband, Ben, but I have known his sister, Lacey, since 6th grade! You can view her family’s photos from this past spring here. I was so excited to finally have this sweet bunch in front of my camera! They have the purest hearts of gold, and souls who love Jesus. Being around them just makes you feel better inside.

The Shurtleff’s showed up to their session dressed to the NINES, each person looking just as lovely as the next! I was also super impressed by how well-behaved their sweet babies were! I would have never guessed their daughter was only two, because she was one of the most precious and sweetest toddlers i’ve ever met! Truly, I could go on and on about how much I adore this family!

At the end of their session we walked down by the lake and let the kids throw rocks and get their toes wet. I always love photographing moments like those. Encapsulating kids just being themselves, and preserving their littleness and exploring the world around them. They always turn out to be some of the cutest photos!

Thank you guys so much for allowing me the true honor of preserving your family’s legacy! It’s always such a joy to photograph old friends, and I can’t wait until we get to do it all again!
