Family of Six Spring Session | Murrell Park, Flower Mound, TX

Having the opportunity to photograph beautiful memories and milestones for people all across the country is such a blessing. Sometimes I have to pinch myself when I call this “work!” So when I get to preserve these moments for friends i’ve known since childhood it is beyond special and surreal.

Lacey and I first met in 6th grade over 15 years ago! We’ve always had a special bond because we share the same birthday! (November 23rd) Lacey is such a sweet, kind soul with a big heart and to know her is to love her! I’ve loved keeping up with her over the years and seeing her beautiful family grow.

Lacey was a bridesmaid for one of my amazing couples Hannah and David’s wedding, and we also attend the same church. I love now that our own kids are getting to know each other and become friends, too!

When Lacey asked me to photograph her spring family session I couldn’t have said “yes” fast enough! I had secretly wanted to photograph her family of six for years! Lacey and her husband, Kevin, have four GORGEOUS (and might I add well-behaved) children, and it was so much fun having them in front of my camera. One of their kids is even a professional model! I knew it would be an easy session!

We met at one of my favorite locations in the DFW area, Murrell Park in Flower Mound. The light was so dreamy and beautiful this day! Although it was a H-O-T spring day in Texas with four kids under the age of eight, the Garza’s look so calm, cool and collected. This was also their FIRST time taking family photos EVER! Can you believe it? But you would never know since they absolutely knocked it out of the park! We got so many amazing photos, and really enjoyed our time together.

Thank you so much Garza family for allowing me the opportunity to photograph your gorgeous family! I am incredibly grateful for your friendship. Walking through life with you all and following Jesus together is such a joy! I already can’t wait for your next session!
