There is something truly special about getting to go around full circle with your clients. From their engagement session, to their wedding day, and now their maternity session at Airfield Falls. Documenting the love story and legacy of David and Hannah is something I am so honored to do.

It is always such a treat when I get to spend time with this sweet couple! They are so much fun to be around and we always have such a fun time together. I also got the opportunity to photograph somewhere new, which is always so fun. Airfield Falls is right next to the military base in Fort Worth, and Hannah thought it was so wild she had never even seen this place considering her Dad works right there! Airfield Falls is such a nice little park with some really great locations for photos.

We started in front of this willow tree, which was my absolute favorite. They way the leaves draped down to the ground and surrounded David and Hannah and their little girl is so beautiful. Afterward we headed to the Airfield Falls Waterfall, which is such a beautiful spot and hidden gem in Fort Worth. Hannah wanted water photos for their maternity session, so they slipped off their shoes and went to step in. But what happened next was not something any of us expected…

Poor David, he stepped into the water first, and as soon as he did.. BAM! He slipped and fell into the water. Thankfully he was fine, and laughed it off. It was a fun memory I’m sure none of us will forget! Unfortunately though, we had no choice but to omit water photos from then on out for their safety. It’s always better to be safe rather than risk getting hurt just for a picture, I say.

We ended their session in a field as the sun was beginning to fade into the trees. The most beautiful golden light. We got so many beautiful images that day despite David’s pants being totally soaked at the end.

Hannah and David, thank you so much for allowing me once again to document such a special time in your lives. Your little girl is so lucky to have the two of you, and I cannot wait for her arrival. Our full circle will finally be complete once she is born and we take your family photos. 🙂 Love you guys and love being a part of your journey!
