In the Fall of 2018 I had the pleasure of photographing the Cutler family for the first time. Josh, his wife Kelsey and their sweet pup Dodge (who looking back now seemed so much smaller than he is today!) We bonded over home renovation projects and how both of our families were doing some remodeling, and talking about how they had been together since high school. Fast forward one year later when they welcomed me into their home to photograph their family again, this time with Kelsey’s parents and siblings, and it was such a joy to see how surprised and excited her Mom was when Kelsey surprised her family with the news that she was pregnant. Now here we are in the summer of 2020, and Josh and Kelsey are about to welcome their very first baby into the world.

Even in the 100° Texas summer heat in her third trimester, Kelsey totally rocked her maternity session and looked absolutely stunning! I just loved her dress and the soft, pale blue color. As soon as I saw her I knew my prediction of her having a boy was correct. Apparently Josh and I were the only ones who guessed right! Team Blue!

Josh and Kelsey, I am so excited for both of you on this new journey as your family gains the sweetest bonus. As a Mom of two boys myself I know what a blessing it is to have a son. Baby boy is so lucky to have you guys, and of course the sweetest guard dog in the world! Congratulations!
